As a naturalist, I recently went on a hike organized by the AMC. The leader stopped at one point asked me how I was doing.... I was the caboose. What I took away from the outings is that most hikers are not concerned with the natural world around them. They just want to get to keep their pace at 2.5 miles an hour. Blind to what they just walked past and didn’t even notice. It was shocking to me. A bunch of lemmings following one another through the woods.
This has been true for me too with hikers in a group. I like to stop and photograph and commune with the plants, and to watch the light. So much to learn in sauntering. Thanks for the link.
Yup I like to wander or more precisely to saunter
I wonder what that means for you? To saunter...

Saunter means to be a holy lander.

Love this. Love being able to hear your voice and eventually share mine.
Thank you. I can't wait to hear that moment when your voice comes forward!
Beautiful. Spacious-feeling. I’m so happy to be here, excited for all to come.
Tina, I feel the same about your writing. Every time, it transports me.
